The Beginning
Embroidery Diva started as a small hobby for Founder and Creator, Kelly Dawson back in 2005 – before her youngest daughter Lateisha started school. Beginning with embroidering simple names on towels and anything else she could find around the house. She really enjoyed creating items for her family.
After sustaining an injury at her Full-Time job, creating items became her mental health savior and she slowly built a listing of many items including the Personalised Bears. We officially launched under the name Embroidery Diva in August 2010, and in 2013 we expanded the business by purchasing an existing Printing Business.
Embroidery Diva became Kelly’s Full-Time job taking over the majority of her house. Now, 7 years on we have grown to a nice size and are constantly researching new items to make and sell.
Embroidery Diva in the community
Embroidery Diva donates to several charities, from sales of certain items – for example, the Rainbow Bears and all Breast Cancer items. Word of mouth has helped build us in the community, Embroidery Diva currently works with several sporting clubs and business.
How we work
Embroidery is 100% Australian-owned and operated, our items are designed and sewn right here in Australia.
Our blankets are designed by us here in Australia & produced by a reputable factory in China, and then shipped to us where we quality check and send to you.
